GOŁOUKOW , WŁADIMIR
Vladimir Goloukhov graduated from Gnesin’s Academy of Music in Moscow in 1992. He specializes in percussion instruments in the symphonic orchestra. He was connected with Mark Pekarskey’s orchestra for some years and then he worked with Ruvvy Shankar, Modern Music Ban and Luzer orchestra. He has widely experimented with different music styles from folk to academic avant-garde, jazz, trance, fusion, ambient. He has released some records. He was the first performer in Russia to play MALLET KAT instrument and is often considered the best vibraphonist in his country. Goloukhov is a composer of music that was later used in films and TV shows. Currently he focuses mostly on his performances with Satyricon Theatre, where he is a vibraphonist and percussionist.
