Bazzoli, Maria Silvia
Has worked for more than a decade as freelance journalist and cinema critic, directed the Visioni d’Altrove film festival in Udine (Italy) and collaborated as programme advisor for several festivals in Italy and abroad. In 2003 she organised a retrospective on African animated cinema for the Festival Cinema Africano in Milan (Italy) and edited the volume African Cartoon. Il cinema d'animazione in Africa. Since 2005 she has been working as a filmmaker. In 2008 she released with Christian Lelong her first documentary feature, Amour, sexe et mobylette (Love, sex and mopeds). Together they have also directed Moustapha Alassane, filmmaker of the possible (2009) and Bon Séjour (2010).
