Couzin Sharon
SHARON COUZIN is an experimental filmmaker who has won numerous awards at international festivals and screenings. She taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1978-2010 where she served as Chair of the Film Department for ten years and taught film production and film history. Currently she lives on a small farm in Wisconsin, raising whippets and greyhounds and writing poetry. Sharon is the head of a business called Blue Willow Dog Coats which designs custom dog apparel. She is still obsessed with language and colour and continues to work on a large photographic project which combines portraits with revealing stories about the subjects. She continues to draw, paint, and spend time in her garden in her spare time.
