  VON ZEIT is one of the most important independent groups in Poland. The hybrid music and film band harmoniously combines tradition and vanguard. Visual animations by Robert Turło with live improvisations by Vj Piotr Świąder create an exceptional climate at concerts.
  
  The band was formed in 2001 in Tczew, Poland. It emerged out of an evolution of a solo project by Romek Puchowski - the vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter - who is fascinated on the one hand by the tradition originating from the Delta (blues), and by experiments and vanguard on the other hand. From its beginnings, apart from Puchowski (vocal, bass, and guitar), Von Zeit has been composed of: Sebastian Szczapanowski, who plays drums, and Robert Turło, a graphic artist, author of animations. In 2003, the band was joined by the guitarist Jacek Kulesza, and one year later - by Vj Piotr Świąder.
