Short film employing the music of legendary Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe. Commissioned for the Festival of Arts and Sciences and screened as the opener for the Australia Day celebrations of 1975.

In this exciting new concept in preschool programming, ART ALIVE takes the imaginings of young children and makes them a reality! Everywhere children use crayon, pencil, paint, as well as plasticine, paper, even found objects to express themselves by creating something or someone in a make-believe world. Now, ART ALIVE takes these creations and brings them to life! Using animation, this imaginary world will “come alive” for the pleasure and wonderment of other preschoolers. In each five minute episode of Art Alive, a child (sometimes more than one) and their “live” creations combine and interact to build a story of discovery, friendship and imagination.
